Dubai’s sea-air logistics model powers resilient trade
Bylined opinion in MEED, later republished under his own name on LinkedIn. Sea-air connectivity as Dubai’s corridor advantage.
These are samples of the executive positioning work I have delivered for senior leaders in the UAE over recent years.
Interviews, authored commentary, keynotes and platforms built for senior executives across DP World, Drydocks World, Presight and e&.

Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director
DP World GCC/October 2023 – February 2026
Positioned as the operational authority on Dubai’s integrated trade machine.
The centrepiece was the Jafza fortieth anniversary. Across a single week in May 2025 the programme placed a Khaleej Times interview, an opening keynote at Seatrade Maritime Logistics Middle East, a decarbonisation panel alongside the International Maritime Organization, a long-form Gulf Business interview and a Forbes Middle East exclusive. Each carried a different facet of the same argument to a different audience.
The reinvention line he delivered to Gulf Business, that what worked forty years ago will not carry the next forty, became the anchor quote for the anniversary cycle and travelled well beyond it.
Alongside the anniversary campaign the programme placed his own byline twice, in MEED and in Gulf Business, put him on the keynote platform at The Maritime Standard climate conference and on the speaker faculty at Global Rail, and ran long-form year-end commentary under his name.
“What we did 40 years ago won’t carry us into the next 40.”

Chief Operating Officer, Parks & Zones
DP World GCC/October 2023 – February 2026
Built from operator to sector authority. The work took an executive whose natural news flow is tenant announcements and gave him a voice on food security, industrial clusters and the geopolitics of trade.
The range is the point. This portfolio holds a long-form podcast, a plenary seat at Dubai Chambers' flagship European forum, a progression from panellist to solo opening speaker on the same conference stage in consecutive years, and a placement in the South China Morning Post where he is quoted as a strategic commentator rather than a company spokesman.

Drydocks World/October 2023 – February 2026
One hard argument, placed relentlessly with the audiences that award contracts: Drydocks World is no longer a ship-repair yard but an integrated marine and offshore engineering business.
The channel strategy is deliberate. Rather than chasing generalist Gulf business press, the work went to global maritime trade, the energy sector, and the Japanese and Indian owner markets. Seatrade Maritime became the anchor relationship, carrying him in three different formats across the period.
It is also the only portfolio here holding a competitive individual honour, CEO of the Year at the ShipTek International Maritime Awards.

The densest programme in the portfolio, and the only one running at investor, government and startup-ecosystem level at the same time.
The arc is an elevation from company spokesman to sovereign-AI policy voice. It runs from a trust-and-product interview in The National, through an exclusive in Finance Middle East on scaling AI for regulated buyers, to Davos, where Presight appeared alongside the UAE Cabinet and PwC to launch a regulatory intelligence model and took a second platform at AI House on the future of public service.

A single proposition, carried with unusual discipline: the transformation from telco to techco.
The language held steady across every channel and every month of the period. The two pieces here are the ones where he speaks at length in his own voice rather than through a corporate statement: an authored letter opening the year, and a long-form podcast on the Careem acquisition.
Davos anchored the year. A fireside chat and panel at the Brand Finance Global 500 launch, and a World Economic Forum panel on MENAP economic integration alongside Majid Al Futtaim and Crescent Petroleum, both inside the same week in January.
“Super apps have catalysed the economic, social and cultural growth of emerging markets today.”
